Message

“I send out a warm welcome to Commonwealth College of Medical and Related Studies on behalf of the staffs and the quality assurance team. The concept of quality assurance (QA) and the related practices, having been developed for decades around the world, are now an integral part in almost every tertiary education institution. In CCMRS since its establishment in 2016 we have been emphasizing the importance of QA in every stage of planning, development, delivery and review. With an aim of offering quality service to the community, the College has been paying every effort in engaging the stakeholders, including students, employers and trainers effectively in its internal QA at the institutional level and programme level.

The College requires every learning programme to go through a rigorous internal QA process so that the planned programme is ensured to meet the stated objectives and the standards of the Kenya National Qualifications Framework (KNQF). As such, students being one of the major stakeholder groups, can be effectively facilitated to attain the learning outcomes as required by the respective industry and the community as a whole. I therefore invite every stakeholder to work with us for making contribution to the College’s further development in the coming years.Welcome once more!.”
